YOUTH MEET, LEARN FROM NFL PLAYERS AT LOCAL FOOTBALL CAMP

NFL Players Germane Crowell and Angelo Crowell will host The Crowell Camp: Education & Sports Clinic. The clinic will be held on June 23-25, 2004 at Forsyth Country Day School in Lewisville, North Carolina.

The camp is organized by The Boyz Are Back Inc. and is free to youth participants. Daily sessions include football instruction and educational workshops. Speakers and topics will include: NFL Veteran Victor Jones, Life vs. Sports; NFL Veteran Greg Briggs, The Road You Travel is Important; Pastor Napoleon Crowell, The Breakfast for Champions; Murray Miller, Drug Awareness; and NFL Veteran Vinson Smith, You Can Do It.

Funds to pay camp expenses have been provided by The NFL Youth Football Fund (YFF), sponsors, and private donors. Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, and Center for Community Safety at Winston-Salem State University are Touchdown Sponsors; Calvary Baptist Church is a Field Goal Sponsor.

Enrollment is limited to 150 participants. Registration forms are available from The Boyz Executive Director Marcus Stevenson by calling 336-750-1747.

The Crowell brothers graduated from North Forsyth High School and attended the University of Virginia at Charlottesville, Virginia. Germane recently signed a one-year contract with the New Orleans Saints; Angelo plays for the Buffalo Bills.

The NFL Youth Football Fund (YFF) is a 501(c)(3) organization operated by the National Football League (NFL) and the NFL Players Association. The YFF fosters youth development through the use of football.

The Boyz Are Back Inc. is a non-profit, faith-based 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to facilitating the physical, academic, and spiritual development of youth. During the school year, board members and volunteers follow up with campers who opt to participate in its mentoring program.

LOCAL FOOTBALL CAMP RECEIVES GRANT FUNDS FROM THE NFL YOUTH FOOTBALL FUND

The NFL Youth Football Fund has made a grant to The Crowell Camp: Education & Sports Clinic. The camp will be held on June 23-25, 2004 at Forsyth Country Day School in Lewisville, North Carolina.

The camp is free to youth participants. Enrollment is limited to 150 campers. Daily sessions include football instruction and educational workshops.

The NFL YFF is a 501(c)(3) organization, operated by the National Football League (NFL) and the NFL Players Association (NFLPA). Its purpose is to foster positive youth development through football as well as maintain a viable future for football at the grassroots level.

The camp is named for NFL Players Germane Crowell (New Orleans Saints) and Angelo Crowell (Buffalo Bills). The Crowell brothers graduated from North Forsyth High School and attended the University of Virginia at Charlottesville, Virginia. Their association with the camp made it eligible for NFL YFF funds, which are awarded on a competitive basis.

The Crowell Camp: Education & Sports Clinic is an outreach program of The Boyz Are Back Inc., a non-profit, faith-based 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to facilitating the physical, academic, and spiritual development of youth.
